I sympathize with the joker but only to a certain extent as though he is a sheer lunatic; there were life-changing events in his life which caused him to become what he is as of now. His family was killed and it drove him to the brink of insanity. The turning point was when he fell into the vat of acid, disfiguring him permanently. True to human nature, he looked for someone to blame and that unfortunate person had to be the Batman, Gotham’s masked vigilante because the Batman did not save his family. The reason I sympathize with him to a certain extent is because he is cunning, ruthless and takes the lives of others lightly without much hesitation.
What I have learnt from this lesson?
I have learnt to analyze characters and it is important not to judge a book solely by its cover. First impressions count but they are not necessarily what the person may be like. It is safer not to jump to conclusions when the character of a person is being questioned.
